Pain to her had always been painted in black the darkest tones; she felt suited that which was trapped in her agony filled heart a tar like substance which stopped it from beating with the life she longed for
In tones of black she was safest knew the boundaries and was well aware of those who held the paintbrushes which painted her darkness
It covered her eyes to all the colours of the world the hues; as bright as they were could never be seen through masks of midnight in daylight hours
That was until one day as winter turned its frost into the gentle; aromatic blooms of spring and scents of daffodils and freshly mown grass wafted into her room that she realised it was she who kept herself locked in black
In white lace she ventured into fields of green that day a black sash tied around her waist the only hint of the colour that had been her world
She gathered the pain held so tightly for so long and she released it to the sky in the form of black balloons she sat in the grass and watched them float until they were but tiny specks on the horizon
Watched as they turned to rainbows stretching lazily skyward while she promised herself upon ever colour that she would never return to shades of black
I have just fallen in love with your picture here, and it has inspired me ( as I write poetry) to write something. I was wondering if it would be OK for me to put this photo on my poem at allpoetry.com Of course I would link it straight back to you here. It would be good exposure for your picture and show the readers where I got my inspiration from and if you like you could put a link to the poem on your picture.
Thanks for your nice comments. You're welcome to use this pic at allpoetry.com and link it. Just the sent the link to your poem and I'll put it beneath the photo, too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
